Travel Advisory

Level 2 - Exercise increased caution

Peru is generally safe to visit, but it's always important to stay alert, especially when traveling to big cities such as Lima, Cusco, and Arequipa. Petty crime like pickpocketing and bag snatching is common. Avoid isolated areas, especially at night, and keep your personal belongings secure at all times.
