Kenya

Overview
Kenya is a country in East Africa. Visiting Masai Mara and you’ll see the big animals – come between July and October for the wildebeest. Coast life runs slow in Lamu and Diani where beaches stretch with little or zero crowds. Nairobi has a lot of traffic but great food spots and local buses (matatus) blast music and get you around for a cheap price. The north stays empty but has great camping and tea farms cover the hills around Kericho. Street food means grilled meat and fresh fruit. Most people mix safari and beach time.
