In addition to its beautiful beaches, Tortuga Bay features a walking trail that takes about 45 minutes to traverse from Puerto Ayora. This path is well-maintained and easy to follow, making it accessible for most visitors. Along the way, you can observe native plant species and possibly catch glimpses of local wildlife. The beach itself is divided into two parts: Playa Brava, which is great for surfing, and Playa Mansa, a calm bay perfect for swimming and kayaking. Always remember to bring enough water and sun protection as the sun can be quite intense in this region.
