Colombia has an infamous history but there is so much more to see. Bogotá’s got museums and food spots, but Medellín wins on weather and fun. Coffee country means small towns and green hills. The Caribbean coast runs on beach time – no one hurries so patience and good preparation is key. Buses go everywhere but flights save time. Street food is cheap and good – try arepas from morning stands. Most travelers skip the Amazon part, but it’s worth the flight to Leticia.
