Burundi

Overview
Burundi sees few tourists, so expect curious looks and friendly talks. Bujumbura is by Lake Tanganyika and is great for swimming and sunsets. The tea fields up north make for good photos. You’ll need a car and driver to get around as roads can be rough. The drum shows aren’t put on for tourists – they’re the real deal. Try the local coffee, it’s what keeps the economy going.
