El Salvador

Overview
El Salvador is the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America but the surf spots work year-round. First time visitors should head to El Tunco. The capital has good museums and great coffee shops. You’ll find a lot of volcanoes and Mayan sites. Buses can be painted like art pieces and Pupusas from street stands beat any restaurant food. Most people skip through, but those who stay find good spots.
